In 2008, Karen Lawson Ph.D. and Neo Moreton LL.B.(Hons) collaborated to create REACH Grenada as a principal program of the Bartholomew Lawson Foundation for Children. Karen started The Bartholomew Lawson foundation for children in 2003 in honor of her late husband Bart's longstanding commitment to the people of Grenada and the work he started there. Both Karen and Neo are driven by the need to combine their respective talents and personal histories in the creation of a project that will improve the lives of many.
Karen's career path has included research and writing in neurolinguistics, clinical care in neuro-rehabilitation and healthcare administration. Her most noteworthy role is mother to three children, all of whom are huge fans and co-creators of REACH Grenada.
Neo holds a degree in law and is a graduate of Columbia Business School Institute for Not-for-Profit Management. For the past 12 years, he has led yoga, meditation and personal growth groups worldwide and has published several guided relaxation and meditation audio CDs for both adults and children. Prior to this, Neo worked internationally as a business executive and consultant for various internet start-up companies.
